Our client, a leading financial institution located in the Perth CBD is seeking to appoint a Project Manager - Applications for a 5 month contract. This is a great opportunity within a dynamic company that provides staff with a friendly and supportive work environment.
The Project Manager will be the single point of accountability for the delivery of assigned projects which often have a budget in excess of $1M and up to $5M. The Project Manager will consult with the business stakeholders to identify their needs, provide appropriate solutions and negotiate outcomes.
As a successful candidate, you must be an experienced and qualified PM with a sound history of delivering IT business applications with key accountability for being on time and on budget.
In addition to excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement, you will need to be an excellent leader and team player. Experience in the Financial industry would be beneficial, but is not essential.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Essential

• Solid previous experience in multi disciplinary projects
• Successful Delivery (on time, in budget) of projects with budgets upwards of $1M
• People management and leadership skills
• An expert understanding of project management methodologies and approaches
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing roles, skill requirements and organisation structure

• PMP or equivalent certification in Project Management
• Understanding of and experience within financial services industry
• Experience of business case creation
